♦ HYUNDAI / KIA Chip Keys

   RECOGNITION & APPLICATION

Kia first used transponders with the '04 Amanti, and Hyundai with the 2007 Azera. These sister companies still use chips on only a few models that you find on the road, and thier keys are often mistaken as chiped when they are not.

  •    DUPLICATION & ORIGINATION
Programming Hyundai and Kia keys requires the car be connected to diagnostic equipment and all keys present. Additionally, it is possible to clone the transponders of these keys but this may not be the most practical method.

Most of the later models listed as optional only use transponders in the proximity fob (pushbutton-start) equipped vehicles.

We are able to duplicate and originate virtually all Hyundai and Kia chip keys, however we typically do not stock the proximity fobs.
